What Does the following biopsy Report Indicate? 

Endoscopy done and observed 1 cm of barret mucossa.(suspected). Biopsy report is as follows:



Observations:



-     Strips of Stratified Squamous etiphelieum showing acanphosis

-     Focal area shows Papillomapous elevated

-     No intestinal metaplasia is seen in adjacent gastric glands

-     Mild basal cell hyperplacea seen

-     Deeper Section shows similar features



Overall impression

-     Eesophogeal biopsy shows mucosal acanphosys with focal ? Papilloma

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your biopsy report suggest some benign papilloma. No evidence of malignancy is there. It also rule out the possibility of barret oesophagus. No any barrret esophagus is there.
No need to worry. Just be relaxed.
